Assessment Center

The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board has established an Assessment Centre which consolidates key resources and services in one location so newcomer families can access easily. This Centre accelerates the process by which non-English students are assessed and integrated into HWDSB schools. The primary function is to promote and support the acculturation of families and increase the probability of student success. The Centre also provides an opportunity for adolescents and adults returning to school to become accurately paced on an educational pathway.
