IMPORTANT NOTICE
Paper copy pay statements will no longer be distributed as of January 1, 2010. Electronic pay statements will be available through the employee self-service web portal. Instructions to access will be provided in advance.
Beginning September 1, 2010, the following groups will be on a bi-weekly schedule over the full 12 months of the year. This change will benefit staff by better supporting their budget and financial management plans through even pays across the year.
Elementary Teachers (bi-weekly over twelve months)
Elementary Occasional Teachers
Secondary Occasional Teachers
Principals and Vice-Principals (bi-weekly over twelve months)

Staff members at all levels make Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board the best place to work. Human Resources offer tremendous support for our staff, which includes Training and In-Services. HWDSB also believes in a Healthy Workplace. The Healthy Workplace Committee meets to discuss issues that promote health and lifestyle practices and look for ways to create a positive workplace culture and supportive environment.
